I am not dismissive of Sarah Palin's drive and "winner take all" appeal. She knows how to get things done, quickly.
In the past 18 months, Sarah became the youngest governor of a young State, moved Alaska's capitol "functions" from Juneau to Fairbanks (presumably while pregnant), waged a successful campaign to get the Polar Bear off the Federal Endangered Species list (a critical step to opening up the Artic Circle to oil production) and sent her 19-year old son to Iraq.
She seems formidable to me.
Here is a link to an informative blog entry from July, from a Republican blog: http://benningswritingpad.blogspot.com/2008/07/repost-sarah-palin-for-vp-maverick.html
It reprints an blog entry from February, which was buried too far for me to find it. If someone finds the Feb. entry, please share!
